2025 Subaru Impreza Prices and Upgrades

As the price for an average new car nears $50,000, it feels like everything on the market is out of reach for most people. That’s why we’re so glad to see Subaru keep pricing for the 2025 Impreza reasonable. The 2025 Subaru Impreza hatchback starts at $24,665 with destination when it hits dealerships later this year. That’s only a $580 increase over last year’s model and nearly half the price of an average new car in 2024. It’s proof the affordable economy car is far from dead.

Trims and Pricing Breakdown

The 2025 Impreza hatchback comes in Base, Sport, and RS trim levels, just like the model from the previous year. The car sports a naturally aspirated boxer four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission (the manual was regrettably discontinued last year), regardless of the model level you select. The complete pricing breakdown is as follows:

Model / Trim2025 PriceDifference vs 2024
Impreza$24,665$580
Impreza Sport$26,665$580
Impreza RS$29,555$580

Standard Features

Even in base trim, the 2025 Subaru Impreza hatchback has good equipment. With 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque, the 2.0-litre engine is more than capable of reaching highway speeds. In addition, the vehicle has dual-zone climate control, LED headlights, Subaru’s EyeSight driving assistance technology, and two 7.0-inch infotainment and climate control touchscreens. Naturally, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard. For $350, a set of 16-inch alloy wheels may be purchased.

Performance and Technology

18-inch alloy wheels and a “sport-tuned” suspension system are included when you upgrade to the Impreza Sport. The Sport model unlocks a “manual” mode for the CVT that mimics an eight-speed paddle-shifted transmission, but the drivetrain remains the same. Along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the inside features an 11.6-inch touchscreen for entertainment and HVAC control. Subaru will install a moonroof and several other safety features for an additional $1,900.

Top-Level Power and Premium Features

With its distinctive 2.5-litre flat-four engine that produces 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, the Impreza RS remains at the absolute top of the lineup. Along with the additional safety measures that come standard, it receives all of the improvements seen in the Sport. A leather steering wheel, carbon fiber-style trim, more supportive seats, and improved LED headlights are also included. A 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a power sunroof, and a lumbar-supporting, power-adjustable driver’s seat are available for an additional $2,070.

Affordable Price

Even with all those upgrades, the top-level Impreza RS costs under $30,000, including destination. That’s not bad, considering the state of car prices in 2024.
