Audi USA unveiled the 2023 limited edition R8 GT, the company’s most powerful rear-wheel-drive vehicle to date. The model year of this Audi supercar appears to be it’s last. Furthermore, only 333 GTs will be sold globally, with 150 going to the United States.
There will be 50 of each colour (red, grey, and black), with only one for each additional Audi dealer. Each vehicle has a unique build number, which is located beneath the surface of the carbon-fibre centre-console trim. The R8 GT has undergone several weight-saving procedures, including the installation of 20-inch milled-cut, forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Along with the bucket seats and carbon fibre-reinforced plastic suspension components like the anti-roll bar, ceramic brakes also contribute to weight reduction. The R8 GT weighs 3,516 lbs (1,595 kg) curb weight overall, which is 55 lbs (25 kg) less than the basic model.
