Nissan recently unveiled the 2023 Nissan Z model, which continues the legacy established by the Z cars over the last five decades. The Z will be available in two model trims; sport and performance. Giving it a fresh design, Nissan has also improved its power and performance and also has better road handling than before. The new Z remains as a two-seat coupe and features modern tech and quality materials in the interior. The 2023 Z, like its twin brother the Nissan GTR, is powered by a turbocharged six-cylinder engine.
Exterior Styling
Since its introduction, the long hood with short front overhangs has defined the iconic styling of Nissan sports cars. As the 2023 Z also pays homage to the previous Z models, it also retains a clean and taut shape. Much has been borrowed from the previous Z models, such as the rear headlights, but Nissan has also added modern features such as LED lighting.
Nissan Z Interior
Stepping inside, the 2023 Z cabin reveals no changes to the interior layout for the 2023 model year. However, more features and the quality of the cabin’s materials have been modernized. Inside the z remains a two-seat coupe with power-adjustable seats. Inside, you’ll find leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control, among other things.
Infotainment features
In terms of infotainment and connectivity features, The 2023 Z comes standard with an 8-inch infotainment display, with navigation available as an option. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features. A 12.3-inch digital gauge display, Sirius XM satellite radio, and an onboard wifi hotspot are also available. In terms of audio, a six-speaker stereo is standard, but a Bose premium audio arrangement is optional.
Engine, power, Transmission
Under the bonnet, like its twin, Nissan GTR, the Z is also powered by a twin-turbocharged v6 engine. However, the Z features a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine which delivers 400hp while the GTR features a 3.8 litre with 565 hp. The z drives the rear wheels via either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The new Z borrows the 3.0 powertrain from the Infiniti Q60 red sport 400. The z, on the other hand, only offers rear-wheel drive, while the Infiniti Q60 offers all-wheel drive.
2023 Nissan Z price
