The Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 is renowned for its opulent amenities and off-road prowess, making it a vehicle for celebrities and the affluent class. Mercedes has now unveiled a new G63 Grand edition for 2023 that is even cooler thanks to its fantastic unique appearance.
In terms of appearance, the Mercedes AMG G63 Grand Edition is finished in matte black with unique gold accents. Not only that, but this SUV retains its original styling. The style is carried through to the decals and multispoke wheels, forged 22-inch painted tech Gold. This colour is also used in the side graphics.
Additionally, Mercedes claims that a Kalahari Gold Magno Affalterbach insignia is “emblazoned” on the hood in what sounds like a German rendition of the Pontiac’s screaming chicken. Kalahari Gold Magno is also used on Mercedes’ three-pointed star emblems, AMG badges, and details on both bumpers, as well as the ring surrounding the rear-mounted spare tire carrier.
Stepping inside, The Grand Edition features black nappa leather on the inside with gold contrast stitching. The floor mats have the same colour scheme, and there’s a plaque on the grab handle above the glovebox that says “Grand Edition” with the “G” in bold.
There will only be 1000 copies sold worldwide, according to Mercedes. The cost of the limited-production model hasn’t been disclosed by the firm, nor is it providing any details regarding a future U.S. version, which will be revealed later.
