2024 Range Rover Sport Price and specs revealed

Land Rover has unveiled the all-new 2023 Range Rover Sport. Since 2005, this is the third generation of the Range Rover Sport. It’s shaping up to be one of the best SUVs of 2022, with tech that the four full-size range rovers don’t have. Not only that, but it has a more streamlined design, a longer wheelbase, and a slew of modern technology and driver assistance features. The Range Rover Sport comes in five trim levels: SE, dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, Autobiography, and First Edition. It competes with vehicles such as the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Porsche Cayenne.

The 2023 collection has a raised front end and a smooth surface throughout, as well as flush-mounted door handles. The Sport’s tail has a more modern appearance, with lighting features that span the width of the rear hatch. The all-new Range Rover Sport now comes with larger 23-inch rims (21s are standard). The Dynamic model features one-of-a-kind bumpers and exterior details in graphite and copper.

Engine power and transmission

Depending on the model trim level, the 2023 Range Rover Sport is powered by one of four engines. All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is standard. The P360 and P400 share the same 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine. The powertrain has been tuned to produce 355hp/500NM and 400hp/550.

The P440e combines the 3.0-litre engine with a plug-in hybrid system that produces 434 horsepower when combined. It has a 31.8 kW battery and can travel up to 48 miles on electricity alone. The P530 is powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine sourced from BMW that produces 523 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.

Interior and infotainment features

Stepping inside, the 2023 range rover sport interior is made of quality material and full of modern tech features. It also offers a spacious cabin with the rear passengers enjoying plenty of legroom. Thanks to the stretched wheelbase that got a  3 inches increase.
