For a couple of months, the Toyota Landcruiser 300 series has been trending and making headlines nearly every day. From spy shots to leaked internal documents, making the lc300 be the talk on the internet. Now, it looks like the wait is almost getting to an end, based on some new reports citing that the official debut will happen sooner than we all thought. MODEL TRIMS
The all-new Landcruiser 300 series will be offered in 4 model variants; it all starts with the entry-level models which are the AX and the GX-R. The VX follows the lineup as the mid-range model trim and last but not least the premium model trim is the ZX. Fortunately, we also expect the high-performance Ga-zoo Racing variant the GR-S is also on the way
ENGINE
It’s not a rumour anymore but it’s the actual truth that Toyota has replaced its V8 engine with two more powerful V6 engine variants. The all-new LC 300 series comes with two V6 engine options, a 3.3-litre turbo-diesel V6 that delivers 227KW and 687 N.M and a 3.5 twin-turbo petrol v6 engine that delivers 309 kW and 589 N.M of torque. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission system
DESIGN AND DIMENSIONS
The new 300 series is bigger and blocky than the 200 series, Toyota has built it on an all-new TGNA platform. It comes with both a two-row and three-row seating configuration. When it comes To dimensions, it measures, 4970mm long,1985mm wide and 1870 mm in height. It also has a 2900mm wheelbase
RELEASE DATE AND PRICE
The 2022 Toyota Landcruiser 300 series will debut at the end of May 2021 or early June. Despite the actual date hasn’t been confirmed yet, We expect this to happen in less than two weeks which is good news to the land-cruiser fans. On the money side, this Toyota off-roader is expected to sell at $7000 more than the Toyota land cruiser 200 series.
