Toyota hasn’t yet confirmed about this v6 engine that is going to power the next Toyota land cruiser. This will be the first time that Toyota will build a turbo-diesel v6. It is also said that we should expect a turbo petrol v6 hybrid land cruiser. The 300 series is expected to go into production in the first half of 2021.
A lot of brands are shifting down from v8s whether petrol or diesel. But why?, According to the Toyota Australia product planner, this is a global trend to reduce CO2 emissions. Additionally, a limited edition Toyota Landcruiser 200 series will be produced and available in the first half of 2021. Toyota advised its dealers to place their final orders and stock up. If you are a fan of this Toyota off-roader SUV, you are asked to hurry up and secure one from your nearest Toyota dealer. Otherwise, you will have to move on and wait for the next land cruiser 300 series. It is expected to appear in the showrooms before the end of the next year.
In the Toyota land cruiser 300, it is expected to be powered by a 3.3 litre v6 turbo diesel. Some reports also suggest that Toyota is working on a diesel hybrid and a 3.5-litre petrol engines plus a hybrid which haven’t yet been confirmed.
