Toyota Camry keeps the ball rolling in 2023 with a redesigned nightshade special edition. It has been America’s best-selling midsize sedan for 20 years, making it one of the automaker’s longest-running nameplates. The Camry was among the first Toyota models to offer a Nightshade edition. It’s a factory-designed package that’s less expensive than hiring a customizer. Toyota now offers three nightshade moods for the 2023 Toyota Camry exterior colours: midnight black, white, and the new reservoir blue.
The nightshade special edition transforms the 2023 Camry into a premium sports sedan with its appearance and attitude. Not only that, the nightshade comes in front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and hybrid variants.
Toyota Camry Exterior
The front grille on the 2023 Toyota Camry TRD is black with a sports mesh insert. The nightshade also has a black rear spoiler, mirror caps and exterior emblems, as well as black-trimmed headlights and tail lights.
The 19-inch matte bronze aluminium alloy wheels are the most noticeable new design feature for the one-of-a-kind nightshade. These look great against any of the three available body colours. The sport-tuned suspension, on the other hand, is carried over from the regular SE grade.

Trims in all grades have a sophisticated higher-tech appearance on the inside, with linear dark wood inlay or patterned metal depending on the exterior colour. For a touch of exotic sports car taste, interior colour options include ash macadamia or black. In addition, the XSE grade has a unique cockpit red interior.
Engine and Power
The Toyota Camry 2023 has three powertrain options under the hood. A 2.5-litre dynamic force four-cylinder engine, a 3.5-litre V6, and Toyota’s next-generation hybrid system. The dynamic force 2.5-litre engine produces 203 horsepower at 6600 RPM and 184 pound-feet of peak torque at 5000 RPM. The Camry XSE AWD grade produces 205 horsepower with dual outlet exhaust, while the other AWD grades produce 202 horsepower.
Toyota Camry Nightshade price
The current 2022 Camry SE Nightshade is priced at $29,110 (plus a $1,025 destination charge), while the SE Hybrid Nightshade is priced at $31,240. Both variants cost $700 more than the standard SE and SE Hybrid.
