The Toyota gr supra has a lot of tuners eye on it this year. Multiple tuners have shown interest in making the Toyota supercar more powerful and not only that even making it look more stunning. Not long ago SARD, a Japanese tuner revealed a custom widebody supra with almost 500 horsepower. Today we have another one from Manhart the GR550 where the SARD version can’t even come close to in terms of power and looks. It’s not the first time to see Manhart tune a Toyota supra. in the past, they revealed one with 450 horsepower named the gr 450.
The GR550 is powered by a 3.0 litre turbocharged in-line six engine. The tuned 3.0 litre delivers a massive 542 horsepower and 568 lb.-ft. of torque, thanks to the TTE685 turbochargers that gives it a power boost. That’s quite an impressive job from Manhart since the previous supra gr450 engine delivered only 450 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the Manhart GR 550 has a Wagner tuned radiator kit and an F1 exhaust system that makes it noisier. With this power boost, we expect the custom supra to be quicker in claiming 0-100km/h and do it in less than 4 seconds.
On the exterior, the Manhart Toyota supra is all wrapped in golden yellow foil and red accent. All this gives the Toyota supra more aggressive look. Additionally, the gr supra rolls low ride, thanks to the H&R Lowered suspensions and it all rides on 20 inches six double-spoke wheels. A number of upgrades are optionally available for the GR550 such as brake tuning, black exhaust tailpipes, and a custom interior.
On the interior, Manhart made it remain untouched leaving it as per the stock supra interior. When looking for the Manhart performance kit, you will have to pay $11862 for it and the vinyl wrap will cost you $4151
