Toyota Landcruiser 300 series release date: what we know

Recently, Toyota announced the end of production of land cruisers 200 series v8 diesel. This is set to pave the way to the all-new Toyota Landcruiser 300 series line up. We expected it to arrive in September in 2020 but its production delayed by the pandemic. Based on the reports, the Toyota land cruiser 300 series is set to arrive in April 2021. This will be the end of the v8 engine and welcome to the new v6 engine in the LC300 series.

On the styling, the Toyota Landcruiser 300 series is built on an all-new TNGA platform. It is also said to be bigger in size than the LC200 series model. The updated icon is said to measure 4970 mm long, 1985 mm wide and 1870 mm in height and a 2900 mm wheelbase is what the LC300 series will ride on. Inside the cabin, the LC300 is available in a choice of seating configurations. This includes; the five-seater which will be a two-row and an eight-seater configuration which will be a three-row. A 12.3-inch multimedia screen is what you find on the dash.

The Toyota Landcruiser 300 series is available in 3 engine variants. A 3.3-litre v6 diesel engine will be the first one to arrive. The horsepower and torque are expected to be more than the V8 engine in the LC200. According to the reports, 3.5-litre turbocharged v6 petrol engines will follow where one is said to be a hybrid version. in the future, there is also an electrification possibility, with Toyota working on a diesel hybrid engine. Safety in the new Toyota off-roader will be provided by an active safety kit added by Toyotas safety sense package.

On the price, the new land cruiser 300 series is set to cost $7000 higher when it debuts in September 2021.
