Subaru has officially launched the new Subaru Forester STi sport model in Japan. This demonstrates that Subaru has not abandoned sporty automobiles, even after the manufacture of the performance-oriented WRX STI was halted. The Forester STI Sport Edition makes its debut with a slew of modern technical enhancements, a redesigned exterior, and revised suspension, making this crossover more exciting. The addition of STI-tuned dampers is also part of the major mechanical changes for the New Forester STI. Other highlights of this new Subaru crossover include new 18-inch dark grey wheels and all-season tires.
Subaru Forester STI Exterior
Exterior, the new and improved exterior comes with a lot of intriguing elements. The black accents on the fog light surround, rear and front bumpers, and side skirts are only the beginning. STI badging is also offered on the grille as well as the rear lift gate. In terms of colour, purchasers have a handful of alternatives for body colour. Crystal white pearl, magnetite grey metallic, ice silver metallic, and crystal black silica are among the colours available.
Subaru Forester STI Interior
The 2023 Subaru STI features two-tone Nappa leather upholstery in Bordeaux red and black on the inside. The inside features red contrast stitching and an STI emblem on the headrests of each seat. In addition to the STI emblem on the tachometer, both instrument gauges feature a red accent option.
Engine, power, Transmission
The Subaru Forester STI Sport is powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged boxer four-cylinder engine. The boxer engine generates 175 horsepower and 300 Newton meters of torque, which is distributed to all four wheels using a CVT system. The Continuous Variable Transmission is the sole available gearbox for this special version.
Price
Unfortunately, the carmaker hasn’t yet revealed the special edition Subaru Forester STI pricing. However, the 2023 Subaru Forester costs $37,890 for the entry-level SUV Forester 2.5I (AWD) and $49,340 for the top-of-the-line SUV Forester Hybrid S (AWD).
