Porsche recently revealed the first generation of the second facelifted Porsche Macan. The 2022 Porsche Macan is available in three trim levels: the flagship Macan, the Macan s, and the flagship Macan GTS. The new Macan variants have more power and performance than the previous models in the Macan generation. Porsche macan Styling
When it comes to the new Porsche Macan styling, both the front and rear ends have been significantly altered. where The nose and diffusers are being updated. The standard adaptive dampers and the sports air suspension have remained unchanged in the Macan.
The Macan is also available in three different colours: papaya metallic, gentian blue metallic, and python green.
The base model comes with 19-inch alloy wheels. Metallic paintwork is available for the Macan S and Macan GTS. There is also an optional GTS Sport package, which includes torque vectoring, 21-inch GT Design alloy wheels, 18-way power-adjustable front sports seats, Race-Tex and extended leather upholstery, and carbon-fibre interior trim.
Porsche Macan Interior Features
Stepping inside the Macan, you get a revised centre console and two steering wheel options with the same touch-sensitive buttons. A 10.9-inch touchscreen display powered by the latest Porsche multimedia system is also available. Unfortunately, a Bose surround-sound system is only found in the Macan s and GTS,
Standard features in the entry-level models include auto-dimming mirrors, keyless entry, rear privacy glass, push-button start, Apple CarPlay support, 14-way power-adjustable front comfort seats, gloss-black interior trim, blind-spot monitoring, surround-view cameras and front and rear parking sensors.
Engine, power and performance
It all starts with the flagship Porsche Macan, which has a revised 2.0-litre single turbo four-cylinder petrol engine under the hood. When compared to the previous engine, the newly developed 2-litre produces 195 kW and 400 NM of torque, representing a 10kw and 30 nm torque increase. With the optional Sport Chrono package, the Macan claims 0-100 in 6.2 seconds. It can also reach a top speed of 232km/h.
The Macan S, on the other hand, is powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo engine that was previously used in the Macan GTS. The 2.9-litre engine produces 280kw and 520nm of torque. The Macan S was previously powered by a 3-litre turbo v6 petrol engine that produced only 260KW and 480NM. The Macan S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 259 km/h.
The final model variant is the Macan GTS, which features a newly tuned 2.9-litre twin-turbo engine with 324Kw and 550nm of torque. It claims to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 0.3 seconds faster when wearing its standard sport Chrono sport package. It also has a higher top speed of 272km/h than the Macan S.
All three Macan variants have a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and drive all four wheels.
2022 Porsche Macan Price
The base price of the 2022 Porsche Macan is $54,900. The entry-level Macan S model costs $65,400, while the high-performance Macan GTS variant costs $79,900. All models are subject to a $1,350 destination fee.
