The new range rover is the fifth-generation model in the range rover line-up. It looks similar to the outgoing model and has also remained true to its roots maintaining the model looks. but despite that, the new model features an updated exterior and interior styling, new tech features and luxury details. in the new range rover lineup, only two models of powertrain options are available; the turbocharged inline-six and the supercharged V-8. The diesel V-6 and plug-in-hybrid P400e models trims have been discontinued in the new generation. the range rover competes with new rivals such as the new Mercedes GLS and BMW X7. Design

Without a doubt the new range rover’s design is perfect. It starts from having updated exterior features and a smoother design than the outgoing model. From the front, the front bumper looks all new and in the SV models, all you get is a model-specific grille design. Standard all-LED headlights are available across all models in the line-up.  In the new generation, The range rover packs the short and long-wheelbase versions options. The new range rides on standard 20-inch alloy wheels, with 23-inch wheels, are also optionally available

New Range Rover Engine

In the new range rover generation, for now, the models are powered by either a turbocharged inline-six engine combined with a 48-volt hybrid system. This combination delivers an output of 395hp. the second option is the 4.4-litre twin-turbo v8 petrol engine that gives 528hp. However, The entry-level hybrid power train option is available only on the base SE trim. the V-8, it’s optional on the SE and comes as standard on the Autobiography and First Edition models.

According to reports, a plug-in hybrid option with 434 will join the lineup in 2023 and is said to drive up to 62 miles on electric power. Also, all-electric models will be available in 2024 plus a high-performance SV model.

New Range Rover Interior

Stepping inside the range rover, a sense of luxury is felt. This comes from the quality leather and wood detailing you to get in its interior. A new leather-free option is also available which feature wool components and other textiles. The seating configuration comes as either a four, five or seven seating arrangement depending on the wheelbase.

On the dash, all you get is full-width air vents and at the centre of it comes a new 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This features Land Rover’s new Pi-vi Pro software, which supports wireless Apple Car-play Android Auto and Amazon’s Alexa,. The digital gauge features a 13.7-inch  display. A rear-seat entertainment system with dual 11.4-inch displays come as standard, also, a Meridian stereo system with 35 speakers is also available.

The cargo space comes with an optional motorized divider to prevent your luggage from moving around during long travels

Safety and driver assistant features 

The new range rover offers modern safety and driver assistance features. This includes  Standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection,  lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode
