Hennessey Supercharged ‘H700’ Corvette C8 Stingray revealed

It’s not the first time we’ve seen Hennessey make a car more powerful, but the Texan firm has now got its hands on the Chevrolet corvette C8 tunning it to a Supercharged ‘H700’ Corvette powerful monster. This has been achieved by tuning its naturally aspirated engine and also adding some other performance parts.

In its factory form, the Chevrolet c8 Corvette is powered by a mid-mounted 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. This stock engine delivers 490 bhp and 465 pound-feet of torque. To make it more powerful Hennessy went ahead to add a high-flow centrifugal supercharger, an air induction system with an air-to-water intercooler. Optionally available is also the enhanced cat back exhaust.

From these high-performance upgrades, the H700 Chevrolet corvette tuned engine is able to deliver 708 bhp and 638 pound-feet of torque. It now outshines even the powerful flagship corvette C8 Z06 that powers 670 bhp and 460 pound-feet of torque from its 5.5 liters naturally aspirated plane crank V8 engine. An 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox is also integrated into the performance supercharger package.

Supercharger, intercooler, engine tune, lightweight wheels, cat-back exhaust, and graphics are all included in the MSRP $49,950 Hennessey Supercharged ‘H700’ Corvette C8 Stingray upgrade kit. The eye-catching vinyl Hennessey Heritage Livery is available in Blue, White, Black, Silver, or Red, while the 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels are available with a Brushed Aluminum, Satin Black, or Graphite finish.

For $34,950 MSRP, customers can choose a power-only package that includes simply the supercharger upgrade and warranty. Each package has a plaque with the serial number, the words “Hennessey,” and the letters “H700.”
