Nissan has unveiled the all-new Nissan Altima for 2023, which includes a revolutionary look. The new Altima also features new wheel designs, more paint colours, and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen. The new Altima has a stylish redesign for 2023, which includes a revamped Nissan V motion grille with a brand new emblem. Toyota Camry, Hyundai Sonata, and Honda Accord are all competitors for the Nissan Altima.
2023 Nissan Altima Exterior
From the images shared by Nissan, they show a sporty 2023 Nissan Altima SR model featuring a distinctive look compared to other Altimas. It packs a different grille design and a black chrome trim. Other features include new standard LED headlights, daytime running lights and turning signals sharing the same space are available. Other new features include a new range of wheel options from 17 inches to 19 inches and a set of snazzy 15-spoke 19-inch wheels for the Nissan Altima SR model. Nissan also includes more colour options that include grey sky pearl and garnet pearl metallic.
Moving to the rear end, the new Altima features dual exhaust outlets which are available for some grades as well s a contrasting rear diffuser.
2023 Nissan Altima Interior
The new Nissan Altima features a new finish surrounding the gauge cluster, as well as a new twin stitch fabric reserved for the SR trim. An 8-inch infotainment touch screen is still standard on the Nissan Altima. For the 2023 model year, however, a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen will be offered on the higher-end models. The user interface and graphics on the new bigger screen are much superior. The new infotainment screen supports Apple Carplay wirelessly, but Android Auto requires a plug-in.
Engine, power and transmission
Two engines are available for the Nissan Altima in 2023. The two powertrains remain unaltered for the new model. In addition, both powertrains come standard with a continuously variable transmission. Standard is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 188 horsepower and 244 Nm of torque. This engine can be coupled with a front or all-wheel-drive system. The second engine is a more powerful 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. It has a power output of 248 horsepower and a torque output of 370 Nm. The new SR front-wheel-drive vehicles are projected to be powered by this powerplant.
Safety and driver assistance features.
The Nissan Altima will be available in 2023 with a long array of standard safety and driver aid features. Among the features available are autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic high beams.
Nissan Altima Prices
Unfortunately, the pricing for the 2023 Nissan Altima has yet to be released. However, we expect Nissan to announce it before the launch of the new Altima, which we don’t expect to have a significant big price difference from the 2022 prices. Prices for the 2022 Nissan Altima range from $25925 for the base model to $35625 for the top-of-the-line variants.
