The Mazda CX-50 is a rugged and capable crossover SUV made for customers in the North American market who lead active lifestyles. The Meridian Edition package enhances the capabilities of the Mazda CX-50 2.5 Turbo model by adding outdoor-oriented black metallic 18-inch alloy wheels covered in 225/60/18 all-terrain Falken Tires. These are made to handle difficult terrain while still feeling at home on the road. This builds upon the standard Mazda CX-50 2.5 Turbo model and all its features.
All Meridian Edition vehicles come with Mazda’s standard i-Activ all-wheel drive (AWD) system, a responsive Skyactiv-Drive six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. Also, under the hood, a Skyactiv-G 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque on premium 93 octane fuel or 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque on regular 87 octane fuel. The Mazda Mi-Drive system, which features Normal, Sport, Off-Road, and Towing driving modes, is also included with the Meridian Edition. It can tow up to 3,500 lbs. in towing mode when fitted with an authentic Mazda tow hitch.
The CX-50 Meridian Edition features a terracotta inside and is available in two metallic colours: zircon sand or poly metal grey. The 18-inch wheels and Falken all-terrain tires are the key improvements. Other aesthetic changes include a new headlight surround, rocker panels, and a hood graphic.
Apex package.
A roof platform, splash guards, crossbars for roof racks, and a new hood graphic are all included in the Apex package. It adds about $1235 in price. A CX-50 Meridian Edition will cost $42,460 in total.
Meridian Choice package
There is an $1899 bundle of dealer-installed accessories known as the Meridian Choice package for individuals who want to add a similar design to non-Meridian Edition models of the CX-50. It features some cosmetic changes from the Meridian edition, including the same hood graphic, roof rack, and roof platform.
With the addition of the Meridian Edition, the 2023 Mazda CX-50 is currently offered in 10 different configurations. Each offers clients a well-equipped vehicle with an impressive list of standard safety and technology features created to fit their demands while delivering the brand’s famous driving characteristics and allowing drivers to explore more of the outdoors.
The 2023 Mazda CX-50 currently has a basic price of $28,825 with the standard naturally aspirated engine after receiving a $750 mid-year price rise across the board.
