Toyota has boosted the looks of the RAV4 by introducing the Euro-spec RAV 4 adventure. The model carries over the minimal styling updates of the entire range for 2022. It features a more exclusive design and a hint of the classic fj40 LandCruiser. Toyota has also taken the opportunity to update the standard RAV4 lineup alongside this new adventure variant. The SUV now comes with projector-style led headlights and led front fog lights along with new 10 spoke alloy wheels available in either black or silver.
On the outside, the 2022 Toyota RAV4 adventure features a more purposeful front end with a black grille and Automaker’s logo moving from the hood to the double horizontal bars between the headlights. Other features setting it apart are the black front fog lamp, which surrounds by wide wheel arches,silver-finished underrun and scuff plates. The Japanese automaker has also prepared a unique by tone paint finish option for the more rugged-looking variant of the RAV4. it combines the urban khaki with dynamic grey for the roof front pillars and rear spoiler. Also, it pays tribute to the signature light roof of the classic fj40 land cruiser. The new Toyota RAV 4 adventure rides on a set of 19-inch alloys wheels with a matte Grey look wrapped in normal tires.
Interior styling and features
The RAV4 adventure interior features some branded treadplates on the door sills and model-specific quilted synthetic leather upholstery with contrasting orange stitching. However, customers will also benefit from the same 8-inch infotainment system as standard. Toyota is offering a combination of black synthetic leather with deeply quilted back cushion sections and contrasting orange contrast stitching. Other features in the interior include; a new led lighting power adjustment for the front passenger seat, an illuminated window, control switches and new USB-C ports.
Engine, power, transmission
Under the hood, the 2022 Toyota RAV4 adventure is powered by Toyota’s 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid power train. This features an electric motor on the rear axle to give the SUV an all-wheel drive. The system has a combined output of 219 brake horsepower which is enough to tow up to 1 650 kilograms. For all RAV4 models, the hybrid power train is mated to a CVT. Depending on the model trim, front-drive models are EPA rated at 28 miles per gallon city 35 miles per gallon highway and 30 combined. The AWD ratings ease to 27 miles per gallon city 33 miles per gallon highway and 29 miles per gallon combined.
