The 2023 Toyota Corolla Touring follows the heritage of adapting to evolving consumer demands and interests. Few automobiles could have a stronger foundation for success than the Toyota Corolla, a nameplate that has appeared on more vehicles globally than any other, which is how it came to set world sales records of more than 50 million across 12 versions since 1966.
The new Toyota Corolla 2023 is poised to strengthen its position as a key volume model for Toyota in Europe. Featuring a new style, fifth-generation hybrid electric technology, a vastly improved digital user experience, and an extended range of Toyota partner safety and assistance features
2023 Toyota Corolla Touring Exterior
The front grille mesh pattern, fog light bezels, and alloy wheel styles have been altered for the new range, giving it a more upscale and modern appearance. New bi-LED headlights with an Adaptive High-beam System are added to higher grades of the hatchback and Touring Sports versions (AHS).
There are new exterior paint colour options available that are influenced by contemporary fashion, product design, and architectural trends. With a vivid, flaring tone, Juniper Blue is the new signature colour for hatchbacks and Touring Sports. Close inspection shows crimson undertones that produce a new impression with slight colour variations. Dark silver flakes in the paint add to the charm of Metallic Grey, classic colour with broad appeal.
Toyota Corolla Touring interior
The interior’s vibe is more contemporary and upscale thanks to new graphics, trimmings, and embossed patterns that give the upholstery, surfaces and finishes a three-dimensional depth and tactile appeal. The interior of the cabin has a modern, sophisticated impression thanks to the trim and seat upholstery options that adhere to the new Dark and Light Harmony themes.
Infotainment and connectivity features
The new Corolla incorporates the most recent digital and multimedia capabilities offered by Toyota, and it is future-proofed so that improvements and new features may be added with ease via over-the-air updates. The 10.5-inch multimedia display is larger and features an anti-glare screen that ensures good sight in all lighting circumstances. It also delivers images in high definition. Starting with mid-range models, the 12.3-inch combi meter in the driver’s instrument display may be customized to the driver’s preferences in four different modes: Casual, Smart, Sport, and Tough.
Toyota Smart Connect or Toyota Smart Connect+, which provides “always on” cloud navigation and real-time traffic and route information, is included with the purchase of a car for a period of four years.
Engine, Power and Transmission
Toyota’s industry-leading self-charging, full hybrid electric technology, now in its fifth generation, is standard on the new 2023 Toyota Corolla Touring. Like the present model, there are two hybrid engine sizes available: 1.8 and 2.0 litres. Both have undergone major engine and electric motor upgrades that boost performance and drivability while maintaining or reducing CO2 emissions, enhancing the driving experience (depending on the powertrain). The lithium-ion battery is more potent yet smaller and lighter, and the power control unit (PCU) and transaxle motor have also been modified (mass reduced by up to 18kg).
2023 Toyota Corolla Touring price
The starting price of the 2023 Toyota Corolla Range is now $28,130 before on-road expenses, which is $2735 more expensive than the model before the upgrade.
