Recently, land rover released some teaser images showing the fifth generation of the range rover. luxury and elegant styling are what we talk about when it comes to this luxury iconic SUV. With the 2022 range rover days away from its debut, we got a quick preview of what we can expect from it. This starts with the styling and new changes both on the exterior and interior.
This iconic luxury SUV rivals other luxury SUVs such as BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS. Now, here are some of the things we expect to see upon the new range rover debut.
From the 2022 range rover leaked images, it appears to have a cleaner design and a smoother styling than the outgoing model. The luxury SUV also appears to maintain its boxy shape but features a modern detailing and the look of a range rover Velar.
The rear end features more changes by having new vertical taillights connected to the bar that house the range rover badge. Not only that the taillights are also visible from the side profile wherein the outgoing models are not. The blacked all-around glass house remains but looks like the roof is completely new.
Luxurious interior and updated infotainment system
The 2022 range rover interior appears to be new, luxurious and more modern. In the cockpit, a new refreshed four-spoke steering wheel is what you get. A large infotainment screen is also available but the new range rover appears to maintain a number of dials on the dashboard.
From the teaser images, the new jaguar luxury SUV features new luxurious seats all through. We also expect the new range to be offered with a third-row option.
Engine power and transmission
More details on what will power the 2022 range rover are yet to be released. But despite that, we expect the new SUV will offer a standard combination of a 3.0-litre inline-six engine and a 48-volt hybrid system. This is the same combination that powers the landrover defender. Also, a supercharged 5.0-litre v8 engine may be optionally available.
Price and release date
We expect the new generation of the iconic Range Rover to make its debut on October 26. For the new range rover, we expect the price to start under $100,000 for the base versions and $200,000 for the luxury versions.
