Nissan has been dropping hints about a potential next-generation Nissan GTR sports car for almost a decade. The automaker has even gone as far as to provide its followers with a 2020 vision Gran Turismo idea that was actually created for a video game series. After much anticipation, Nissan has officially unveiled the 2022 Nissan GT-R, an iconic supercar. It is offered in five model variations, two of which are special editions—the new T-spec and Nismo SV.
Regrettably, the 2022 Nissan GT-R supercar is the last model to carry the GTR name. Nissan made the decision to include the new GTR T-spec and Nismo SV edition in order to say goodbye to the icon as it signals the end of the road.

The VR38DETT engine is exclusively configured to produce 419kw and 632NM of torque in the premium, premium luxury, and T-spec variants.
