Earlier this week, Toyota’s luxury brand, Lexus revealed a teaser image and a short video showing an all-new model form of a more luxurious Lexus. From the rear end, the Toyota Landcruiser 300 series twin carries a badge as the Lexus LX600. the new lx 600 is set to replace the outgoing Lexus 570  4×4 four-wheel-drive SUV. Apart from that, here are some of the things we know about the incoming luxurious Lexus LX600 starting from the styling, engine, revealed date and price.

Straight from the teaser images and video, the 2022 Lexus LX600 appears to maintain the same boxy shaped body. The boxy shape is also similar to the one of its twin, the LC 300 series. The new Lexus SUV also appeared to have the same famous spindle grille and L-shaped headlights. this was from an image revealed earlier this year. Different from the LandCruiser is the taillights which appear to be well connected via a light bar. The rear window also appears to be slightly more slanted forward.

Engine and Power

In comparison with the outgoing Lexus LX570, under the hood was a 5.7-litre v8 petrol engine. The v8 plant delivered an output of 270 kW and 530Nm of torque. From the reports, the new Lexus lx 600 is said to ditch the v8 petrol engine and adopt Toyota’s new 3.5 litres twin-turbo v6 petrol engine. the new v6 engine punches 290 kW and 649 Nm of torque. Not only that, but the lx600  could also use Toyota Landcruiser’s tuned V6 engine that gives 305kw and 650 Nm of torque which is exclusively available in the middle east. The V6 powertrain is mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission system and drives all four wheels.

It is also speculated the LX600 could be available with a choice of petrol, diesel and a petrol hybrid engine.
