After a break for the 2021 model year, the all-new 2022 Infiniti QX60 launches the second generation of this SUV. The 295-horsepower, 3.5-litre V6 from the previous version is still present, but the vehicle has undergone a complete redesign. The old continuously variable transmission has been replaced with a far more responsive nine-speed automatic transmission with this engine. The new, top-of-the-line Autograph trim of the QX60 offers a significant increase in terms of a luxurious feel. Rival SUVs like the BMW X5, Lincoln Aviator, and Mercedes-Benz GLE-class will present the QX60 with significant competition.
2022 Infiniti QX60 Exterior
From the looks. The Qx60 look is advanced and competitive within the market thanks to the exterior’s sleek and attractive appearance. Although not excessive, it appears upmarket. Rather than aiming to impress others while driving a QX60, the focus should be on the comfort and happiness of the passengers.
2022 Infiniti QX60 Interior
Stepping inside, The 2022 QX60’s cabin has undergone a significant revamp, but it still features a three-row interior arrangement with room for up to seven passengers. The top-spec Autograph model has second-row captain’s chairs, which lowers the number of passengers to six. With upscale materials utilized everywhere and further sound-deadening measures to provide more seclusion from the outside world, the glammed-up cabin is believable.
Infiniti also offers conveniences like ventilated front seats, a massage feature, and heated rear seats as options. Both of the front seats include eight-way power adjustments and heating. Additionally, higher trim levels can be selected with a three-zone system that also has an air purifier, and dual-zone automated climate control is standard.
Infotainment and Connectivity features
With the makeover of the 2022 QX60, Infiniti thankfully retired its outdated dual-screen infotainment system and replaced it with a single 12.3-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Both a 10.8-inch head-up display and a supplementary 12.3-inch digital gauge display are optional. Additionally, all QX60s will have onboard Wi-Fi, and customers can purchase a 17-speaker Bose premium music system.
2022 Infiniti QX60 Cargo space
For the class of premium midsize SUVs, this Infiniti offers a respectable amount of cargo space. With the third row folded, you get 41.6 cubic feet of room, and with the second and third rows folded, you get 75.4 cubic feet of space. The area below the third-row seats is 14.5 cubic feet.
Engine, Power and Transmission
The 295-hp V-6 engine that powers the 2020 QX60 returns for the 2022 model, but Infiniti has abandoned the CVT in favour of a more conventional nine-speed automatic. The new QX60 will continue to ride on a front-wheel drive-based basis, but all-wheel drive will be an option. The QX60 can tow up to 6000 pounds, an increase of 1000 pounds above the limit of the outgoing 2020 model.
Safety and driver assistance features
Rear automatic braking, cross-traffic alert, blind-spot warning, and forward emergency braking with pedestrian recognition are all included in the standard safety features. The value of moving up to the Luxe trim level is increased by the addition of driver attention alert, lane departure warning with haptic feedback, and front sonar in all trims save the base one.
2022 Infiniti QX60 Price
The 2022 Infiniti QX60 pricing at $46,850. That is a lower-than-average starting price for a midsize premium SUV. As the 2022 Infiniti QX60 Autograph starts at $60,350, it is also less expensive than its rivals at the top end of the trim range.
