2022 ford everest Design and styling
The new 2022 ford Everest and ranger look to have a lot in common when it comes to exterior styling. From the front fascia, the Everest features a muscular front design, c- shaped LED headlights, 3D grille with the blue ford logo fitted at the centre. The rear end features a tailgate with chunky taillights linked together by a bar. Still covered with digital camouflage, a lot of the exterior features still remain hidden. Ford has confirmed officially reveal Everest in the first quarter of 2022.
Engine power and transmission
Anticipated to power the new 2022 Ford Everest is the ford rangers flagship 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 engine. The v6 unit is said to deliver 190Kw of power and 600NM of torque. Not only that, but the new Everest is also set to be offered with an upgraded 2.2-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder engine for the base models. Both engines are expected to be mated with a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission and drive all four wheels. However, the four-cylinder unit will offer a part-time all-wheel-drive system while the V6 is permanent.
Interior and Infotainment features
No interior photos have been revealed yet for the next generation of ford Everest. However, similar to the new ford ranger we expect it to feature a vertically fitted 10.1 inch and a 12-inch touchscreen. This will be alongside a fully digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system is will run on a fords sync system.
