2025 Nissan Murano

2025 Nissan Murano Prices and Specs

For good reason, Nissan refers to the 2025 Murano as a “road-going sanctuary.” Though it’s only the beginning, the front seats can be massaged, a feature that no other Murano offers. The driving experience is improved in every 2025 Murano with a new digital cockpit that has two 12.3-inch screens. For the first time in the Murano series, the Platinum grades also have 21-inch wheels.

Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 array of driver-assist technologies, which guarantees a safe and comfortable ride, is standard on the 2025 model. Under the hood, a new, more efficient powertrain replaces the outdated CVT transmission, and the crossover’s entire exterior overhaul gives it a refreshed appearance.

Dimensions

Some people could argue that this facelift is long overdue, considering the departing Murano debuted in 2015. But it seems like the wait was worthwhile. The fourth-generation Murano is 2.6 inches wider and has over 2 extra inches of ground clearance than the previous model, making it slightly bigger.

The internal measurements have changed significantly, but the overall length and height are about the same as they were in the prior model. There is now slightly less legroom in the back (36.3 inches) than there was previously, but there is still greater room for the front passengers (44.3 inches).

Styling

Bold and unusual appearance has always been a key component of the Murano’s appeal, and the 2025 model continues to emphasize this feature. The Murano’s distinctive design has been well-known since its initial debut in 2003. The 2025 model has a split light theme, with slimmer lamps placed above a symmetrical grille in place of the huge, angular headlights.

The V-Motion motif is still prominently displayed in this style, which is reminiscent of the latest Nissan Kicks. The Murano has a bold presence thanks to its wide, smiling grille and the LED lights in the corners.

Exterior Enhancements

Nissan has moved the side mirrors from the A-pillar to the doors further along the car to improve vision. The body lines that extend to the back and meet the flared rear haunches have replaced the curved front fenders of the previous model.

The D-pillar kink, a defining feature of the Murano’s design, is still present but is now enhanced with chrome trim, giving the car a roofline more like to that of a coupe. The license plate has been relocated to the lower back fascia, and the rear has been totally redesigned with slim taillights that span the liftgate. Nissan highlights the new model’s more upscale appearance thanks to this change.

Interior and Tech Features

Inside the 2025 Nissan Murano, the modifications continue with a more comprehensive overhaul. The interior of the 2025 Murano is dominated by dual displays, which virtually completely replace physical buttons with tactile and digital controls like to those found in the Nissan Ariya. The tech package includes advanced features including ProPilot Assist 1.1, Invisible Hood View (which allows drivers to “see” through the engine bay), and the 3D Intelligent Around View camera, in addition to Google built-in services.

Additionally, the option for a color heads-up display on certain trims and the programmable digital driver display will be appreciated by drivers. Without a cord Active noise cancellation and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included as standard features. That is an extra option, though, if you want the enhanced 10-speaker Bose stereo.

New Powertrain

There is an entirely new powertrain to go along with the updated look and interior. Both the much-maligned CVT transmission and the old V-6 engine have been replaced. The 2.0-liter variable-compression turbocharged four-cylinder engine from Nissan, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission, has taken its place. There are 260 pound-feet of torque and 241 horsepower produced by this combination. There is a 19% decrease in horsepower compared to the previous generation, but a 20 lb-ft gain in torque. Even if all-wheel drive is an option, the transmission still normally powers the front wheels.
