The entry-level Tesla Model 3 now starts at just under $62,000, a price increase of almost $5,000. Despite this, it still offers excellent value for money considering its features and capabilities. In terms of competition, alternatives like the BYD Seal and the Polestar 2 are out there, but the latter has become quite pricey. Therefore, the BYD Seal stands as the most logical competitor. 2024 Tesla Model 3 Exterior design
Starting with colours, the 2024 Tesla Model 3 comes with optional colours that are quite pricey, ranging from $1,500 to $2,600. Moving on to the front, there’s a noticeable change in the headlights with a thin strip now integrated, and the fog lights have been incorporated within the headlight cluster to enhance aerodynamics and range. However, the Matrix LED functionality appears to be software-driven and not yet active. Additionally, front and rear parking sensors are absent, relying solely on camera-based systems, which might need some testing to evaluate their effectiveness.
Moving to the side, a new wheel design for the entry-level variant is covered for aerodynamic efficiency. Michelin tyres have been improved for reduced rolling resistance and noise absorption. Underneath, the structure has been made more rigid, allowing for the installation of frequency-selective dampers, promising better ride quality.
The door handles remain unchanged, but there’s a noticeable improvement in the door slam sound, now reminiscent of European luxury cars. Acoustic glass has been extended throughout the vehicle for improved sound insulation.

There are three different Model 3 trims available, and each has a projected driving range that varies. With a stated range of 272 miles, the standard rear-wheel-drive variant is the most economical.
