The 2024 Nissan GT-R price is $50K More

The Nissan GT-R, which revolutionized the performance vehicle market when it made its debut in 2009 with its ballistic performance and affordable pricing, will continue to be produced through the 2024 model year with only a minor modification. The front and back aesthetic changes result in a price rise of around $5000. The standard Premium trim of the GT-R will cost $122,885, and sales of the 2024 model line will begin this spring.

For 2024, the T-spec trim is returning to fill the gap between the base GT-R and the top-tier NISMO track model. The T-spec has bigger front fenders and the NISMO’s carbon-ceramic brakes, and it is available in two traditional GT-R colors: Millennium Jade and Midnight Purple III. The T-spec starts at $142,885, which is around $2000 more than the 2021 model, and has gold wheels as well.

The NISMO, a brutal track monster with power increased from 565 to even 600 horsepower, is the top model in the GT-R line-up. A new front limited-slip differential, swan-neck rear wing, and revised front splitter and diffuser to boost downforce are all available for 2024. RAYS forged 20-inch wheels with red accents, a carbon fiber hood, and a special engine cover are included in a new look package. The NISMO starts at a staggering $222,885 ($5250 more than in 2023) and will reach dealerships this summer. Limited quantities of the T-spec and NISMO are being made.

The 2024 model is basically the same as the first 2009 model, despite Nissan giving the GT-R occasional modifications over its 15-year lifespan. But the cost has increased dramatically. A new GT-R’s MSRP in 2008 was $70,850 at the base level and $72,900 at the Premium trim level. Even after accounting for inflation, the 2024 model is still much more expensive than the 2009 model, which still costs $101,825 in today’s dollars and is almost $20,000 cheaper than the 2024 GT-R’s starting price.
