Jeep has recently unveiled the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, its two-row midsize SUV. It has been on the market for a few years. For the first time, the Grand Cherokee, now in its fifth generation, offers a three-row Cherokee l model. In addition, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee includes a new two-row model trim, a plug-in hybrid model version, and an off-road model with a hybrid powertrain.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee family includes several distinct accessories and features, starting with the Laredo’s 17-inch wheels and a black plastic body and moving up to the Summit’s abundance of chrome, 20-inch wheels, luxurious leather upholstery, and McIntosh audio system.
Engine, Power, and Transmission
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is powered by a 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine with naturally aspirated combustion. The V6 engine produces 357 NM of torque and 210 kW of power. The engine is connected to an 8-speed auto torque flite torque converter automatic gearbox system. The quadra-wheel drive system in 4×4 Jeeps with a low-range gear distributes power to all four axles. Furthermore, the Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 comes with five drive modes: auto, sport, rock, snow, and sand/mud.
The Grand Cherokee is also available in a hybrid version called the 4XE. It has a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a 17kw battery for power. The 4XE can travel 40 kilometres on electric power before switching to the turbocharged petrol engine. The hybrid model includes a Jeep Quadra Trac II four-wheel-drive system with a low-range gear.
There are only three drive modes available for the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE, these are hybrid, electric, and Esafe. All of this will be determined by the driver’s preference for an electric and gasoline combination. The hybrid vehicle will be available in Trailhawk, Limited, Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve trim levels. A 5.7-litre V-8 with 357 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque is available as an option for these model grades as well.

Infotainment and Connectivity Features
A 10.1-inch digital display with the Jeep’s new Uconnect 5 software is found inside various Grand Cherokee model grades, along with leather seats and dual 10.1-inch digital screens for the instruments and multimedia controls. In addition, it has wireless Apple Car-play and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation, a digital rearview mirror, a wireless smartphone charger, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Moreover, a 10.25-inch front passenger screen with built-in Amazon Fire-TV capability is optionally available in the US.
Safety and Driver assistance features
Grand Cherokee’s safety is fully guaranteed. It begins with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, a rearview camera, tire pressure monitoring, and parking sensors installed in the back as standard. Other features in the higher grades include parking assistance, a night-vision camera, a driver attentiveness alert, the ability to recognize traffic signs, and surround-view cameras.
Price
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee price starts at $37,785 and may reach a top price of almost $70,000 when equipped with all of the optional upgrades and features. The majority of Grand Cherokee purchasers choose the Laredo or Limited trim with equipment priced between $40,000 and $50,000.
