The Hyundai Venue 2023 is a compact crossover with a quart-sized interior. While some desirable optional features, such as all-wheel drive, are missing from the Venue, it does include an array of driver assistance features as well as infotainment goodies like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
A number of new features are included with the 2023 Venue. Rear-seat alerts have been added by Hyundai to advise drivers of any passengers or things left in the back seat after parking. The digital screen in the instrument cluster has been extended to 4.2 inches and is now colour. A centre console armrest is now a standard feature. The Limited trim now comes with a wireless smartphone charging pad.
2023 Hyundai Venue Exterior
The 2023 Venue has a bolder grille with a parametric-style pattern and a dark chrome frame, starting with the exterior. Additionally, the turn signals and LED daytime running lights have been updated and now have a more brash appearance. Finally, an aluminium skid plate is added to the front bumper.
A new pair of full-width LED taillights, a redesigned rear bumper, and blacked-out garnishes around the reflectors that give the crossover a meaner look make the back of the crossover busier while the front received a slight modification.
2023 Hyundai Venue Interior
Hyundai worked diligently on the interior of the Venue in addition to the outside. Even though the 2023 Hyundai Venue has bumpers that are only 159 inches apart, the interior is still quite roomy. Since the front seats are comfortable and the storage space is large for such a compact model, we give it a 7 out of 10.
Drivers who are taller will have plenty of room inside the Venue because of its high roof. However, there are differing opinions about its front seats; some drivers feel that the front thrones might provide additional thigh support. The Limited comes with synthetic leather and denim combo instead of the usual cloth.
It now includes a digital instrument cluster in addition to an 8-inch touchscreen display. A wireless smartphone charging pad, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, and a two-tone interior finish are also included.
Rear air conditioning vents, a cooled glovebox, front and rear USB outlets, a rear center armrest, split-folding 60:40 rear seats, and a sizable panoramic sunroof are further features included in the 2023 Venue.
infotainment and connectivity features
A user-friendly 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality is standard in every Venue. The infotainment system offers user-friendly volume and tuning knobs below the screen, as well as appealing menus that responded swiftly to our inputs. The SEL and Limited both provide integrated navigation systems with real-time traffic updates. Other than that, the SEL and Limited have six speakers, while the standard SE has four.
Engine, power, and transmission
The 2023 Venue offers three different engine options under the hood. The 1.2-liter normally aspirated engine, which produces 83 PS and 114 Nm of torque, is the first. A 5-speed manual transmission is connected to it. The alternative gasoline engine has a turbocharger and produces 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque. It can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The 1.5-liter CRDi, which generates 99 PS and 240 Nm of torque, is the only turbo-diesel choice. Only a 6-speed manual transmission is offered with this one. An all-wheel drive is an option; a front-wheel drive is the default configuration.
Safety and driver assistance features
Every Hyundai model comes equipped with driver assistance technologies as standard; starting with the mid-level SEL, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are included as well. other key safety features such as Lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assistance are all standard, as well as automated emergency braking and a driver attention monitor.
